She brings a sophisticated legal perspective to every file, one shaped by an international legal education, hands-on litigation experience, and a deep understanding of the human dimensions of family law.
Vanie holds a B.A. LL.B. (Honours) First Division from Panjab University, one of India’s most prestigious legal institutions, where she graduated with distinction and developed a rigorous foundation in litigation, advocacy, and legal research. She is a published legal author, having co-authored a peer-reviewed chapter on women’s rights in a nationally circulated academic legal text, a distinction that reflects both her intellectual depth and her commitment to justice beyond the courtroom.
Prior to joining Nazarian Law, Vanie completed her articles at a respected boutique family law firm in London, Ontario, where she built a practice grounded in real courtroom experience. She appeared before the Superior Court of Justice on twelve uncontested trials, delivering oral submissions and securing favourable court orders on behalf of clients. She managed complex files from intake to resolution, including Office of the Children’s Lawyer matters, and was trusted to handle client consultations, draft key litigation documents, and appear in court independently.
Her path to the bar also reflects a broader sense of purpose. In 2017, Vanie represented Canada as a Youth Delegate at the United Nations Summer Youth Assembly in New York, joining changemakers from five continents to propose solutions on the global stage. It is the same sense of advocacy and responsibility she brings to every client she serves today.
Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, with working knowledge of Urdu, Vanie offers culturally attuned representation to a diverse range of clients, an increasingly important capability in the communities Nazarian Law serves.
Outside of practice, Vanie is an avid traveller, a dedicated café explorer, and someone who finds as much meaning in human connection as she does in the law.
