Ida’s practice covers the full scope of family law issues—parenting and custody, support, property division, divorce, and separation agreements. She works closely with each individual to craft solutions that reflect their unique needs and circumstances.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ida earned her law degree through the prestigious BBA (Law) & LLB double degree program at the University of Hong Kong. After moving to Canada, she completed her legal accreditation in Ontario and articled at a boutique family law firm before going on to manage her own caseload at a Toronto-based practice. She has represented clients at all stages of their legal journey—from initial consultations to motions, conferences, and negotiated settlements.
Ida is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and regularly supports clients from a range of cultural backgrounds. Her ability to understand the personal and cultural nuances behind family dynamics allows her to advocate in a way that feels not only effective but deeply respectful and personalized.
